North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun Class
This one day class, approved by the North Carolina Department of Justice, goes well beyond the state mandated requirements. We offer insight to other subjects related to carrying a firearm such as situational awareness, mindset, legal proceedings, and personal firearm training techniques. We will discuss in length the N.C. laws concerning firearms and concealed carry and will not stop until all of your questions are answered.
Time: 8am-5pm
Cost: 1 person $79.00
There is a range fee of $11.00
For a total of $ 90.00
Required Equipment: Handgun, 50 rounds of ammunition, holster, eye and ear protection.

Other area Concealed Carry Classes do not meet the state mandated requirements such as the 8 hour time requirement, while others do not meet the range requirements. The state is cracking down on these classes and possibly their students. These classes not only cheat the students out of having the correct knowledge, they also endanger the general public. Instructors who shortcut or backdoor concealed carry classes are detrimental to your right to carry. These methods do not enhance your 2nd amendment rights, they help to deteriorate them. These instructors are simply providing excuses to those who are opposed to free gun ownership.
Our goal at Vanguard Security Consulting is to ensure that you understand the laws concerning carrying a handgun and using it. If you do not have a complete understanding of the laws, you could lose your right to carry a handgun or even worse you could end up in prison. There are many myths and misinterpretations of the laws, and we clear them up for our students.

While women are always welcome to any Concealed Carry Class we offer, some have expressed an interest in a ladies only class. Due to the demand we will periodically have a ladies only class. If you have an interest in participating in a ladies only class please email us and we will inform you when we place one on the calendar.

NRA FIRST Steps Pistol Class
Firearms Instruction, Responsibility and Safety Training
This class is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe and proper handling of pistols. This class provides a thorough introduction to firearms safety, handling, and shooting skills. 80% of this class is on the range.
Upon successful completion of this 3 1/2 hour course the participant will receive an NRA certificate of completion and an NRA basic practical rocker.
Cost: $85
Required Equipment: Handgun, 70 rounds of Ammunition, and a holster.
